With the use of the Evidence Inventory, an institution can organize the institutional documentation it has obtained for the self-study according to standards, criteria, and affiliation requirements. The Evidence Inventory is initially populated using a variety of ways by the institutions, and then it is refined.

Institutional self-study leaders will join Department staff in providing guidance and discussing topics such as: helpful approaches to compiling work group reports into an effective Self-Study Report, and how to develop an effective self-study report.

Both synchronous and asynchronous learning options are available for the USHED 2022 Self-Study Institute (SSI) for institutions preparing for self-study evaluation visits anticipated for autumn 2024 or spring 2025. The invited institutions' key connections received further information about SSI.
